Artwork

Since we seem to have a lot of artists in Cake, here's a whole special forum just for your media. If you want to show off something pretty, do it here. Maybe there'll be boobies too. I hear they're artistic.

"Quickly" hashed out page 3 (I say quickly but it took 3 days :P). Got two versions here, the first is my friend's original script and the second is my "edit". Curious as to which comes across better and/or is the "funniest".

hmmm It's hard to spot the difference >.>;

The second is great if you are purposfully going for the over the top exageration joke. But I do also like the subtleness of the first but thats pretty much how my brother and I talk lol

I kinda realised I spoiled the joke by showing my friend's one first :P My main problem is that it doesn't really warrant a two-panel page since there's barely any dialogue and nothing is really happening other than the conversation so I thought of the OTT joke. My friend's is closer to how we talk too, I said I'd allow him full control over the script but it has been a few years, if I present him with my version first he might buy it :P

Not surprised, I almost wrote "WRYYYYYYYYYYYYY!" instead of the "hahaha~", all that's missing is a steamroller :P

I've got the thumbs up from my friend, unusual for him to like my jokes :P

Got another "treat", page 6. I've added an extra panel on the end, was wondering whether it adds or subtracts from the joke.

Think I need some serious help with this one, having a nightmare trying to draw Sarah. This is the best I've got so far, did a quick CG sketch to make it stand out.

Already spotted the eye on the left needs to be dropped a bit. It's meant to be a summer shirt/top but think it looks more like a nightie now :P How can I make her look more girly? Boobs need to "stand out" more I think.

My "artwork"...

this is going to be my next tattoo .. upper back around my shoulders

flower petals are supposed to fly from the one on the left to the one on the right.. coloring is just a rough idea of what I kinda want (since I suck at Photoshop I had to do it old-school style with crayons on the print-out lol)

:D

It's just the first part of what I want.. In addition I want one Fairy sitting on a crescent moon placed above those two on my neck - and.. some quote of a song to go with the whole artwork :)

But haven't found a Moon-Fairy yet, which I like...
